Seadragon and Photosynth Technologies

This is an astonishing presentation made at TED' s 2007 by Blaise Aguera y Arcas who is an architect at Microsoft Live Labs, and the co-creator of Photosynth, a monumental piece of software capable of assembling static photos into a synergy of zoomable, navigatable spaces.

Technicalities? You bet!  But this young guy grabbed seven minutes of staging that generated huge buzz in Monterey.  How they do it?  Hyperlinking images all over the net and making the sum much greater than the parts?
